2/21/17: Tony Cárdenas Town Hall (D CA-29th)

  • Time: 3:30pm – 5:30pm
  • Location: Cesar E Chavez Learning Academies-Social Justice, 1001 Arroyo St, San Fernando, CA 91340
  • Event Description: Let’s make our voices heard. This is Tony Cardenas first town hall since the inauguration. This is specifically to talk about the ACA. Come prepared to listen or ask questions. Either one is fine!

2/22/17: Ken Calvert Protest at Mission Inn (R CA-42nd)

  • Time: 11:00am – 2:00pm
  • Location: Mission Inn, 3649 Mission Inn Ave, Riverside, CA 92501
  • Event Description: Congressman Ken Calvert from California’s Congressional District 42 hasn’t held a public town hall in at least 8 years, but he is holding a $250/plate fundraiser at the Mission Inn! Join us to let him know his constituents deserve to be heard. Bring signs (no sticks or posts) demanding a town hall or letting Calvert know your views on his policies. Meet us at the Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf on Mission Inn Ave, across from the Mission Inn, at 11am. We’ll walk over and protest peacefully outside the Mission Inn, taking care not to disrupt businesses or traffic. Stand with us, Indivisible!

2/24/17: Town Hall with Adam Schiff (D-CA 28th)

  • Time: 7:00pm – 8:30pm
  • Location: Glendale Community College Mainstage Theatre, 1500 N. Verdugo Rd., Glendale, CA 91208
  • Event Description: You’re invited to attend a conversation with Rep. Schiff about the crisis in the refugee program. Representatives from the International Rescue Committee (IRC), Muslim Public Affairs Council (MPAC), Hebrew Immigrant Aid Society (HIAS), and ACLU will join Rep. Schiff on a discussion panel.

2/24/17: We Want a Town Hall with Darrell Issa Rally! (R CA-49th)

  • Time: 4:00pm – 9:00pm
  • Location: CBS Television City, 7800 Beverly Blvd., Corner of Beverly and Fairfax, Los Angeles, CA 90036
  • Event Description: A member of Indivisible Congress #33 has discovered where Darrell Issa will be on Friday. He can’t make our Town Hall tomorrow, Feb. 21st, but he found time to be on the Bill Maher Show! Care to join fellow constituents of District 49 and surprise him? If so, join us for a protest outside CBS Television City! The Maher Show is from 5:30-8:30 pm and the rally will run from 4:00-9:00 (or as long as you can). Bring your signs and posters demanding a town hall with Issa!

2/24/17: Community Meeting w/ Congressman Brad Sherman (D CA-30th)

  • Time: 3:30pm – 5:30pm
  • Location: Van Nuys State Building Auditorium, 6150 Van Nuys Blvd, Van Nuys, CA 91401
  • Event Description: Join Congressman Brad Sherman and [State Rep. Matthew Dababneh] for a Community Meeting to discuss issues affecting our community and state or to share your ideas for possible legislation. The Congressman and [State Rep. Matthew Dababneh] will also have staff available to assist you with issues you are having with state or federal agencies.

2/24/17: Mimi Walters Rally (R CA-45th)

  • Time: 3:00pm
  • Location: Mimi’s District Office, 3333 Michelson Drive Suite 230, Irvine, CA 92612
  • Event Description: Demand Mimi Walters speak out to protect her constituents. No Muslim Ban! Demand Regular town-hall meetings with constituents, Immediately stop supporting policies that accelerate global warming, Take action to support and protect all residents living in CA-45 regardless of religious beliefs, and Support woman’s reproductive rights.
