Want to stand up for freedom? Freedom Uprising is an activist group dedicated to defending civil liberties, protecting the planet, and welcoming those in need. We formed shortly after the 2016 election and welcome members from around the world. We’re based in Claremont, CA and conduct actions on the local, state, and national level.
Attend a Training
We host regular training events covering the basics of political action & engagement. Our next training will be Sunday, April 9 at 3:30pm at the Monte Vista Unitarian Universalist Church at 9185 Monte Vista Ave, Montclair, CA. This training will review the responsibilities of the different branches of government and how regular citizens can impact legislation, including a discussion of what kinds of political action are most effective.
